Wah Hey we're the Cultures, Culturing around!

Today I learned about culture. I studied culture before so the first thing I noticed about it is that it is very easy to forget about. However, as celine dion puts it 'it's all coming back to me now'. From what I can gather, culture is the norm or everyday things that we overlook. One of the things that my lecturer touched on was fashion being part of a persons culture. Then I thought that if I walked into class in a summer dress everybody would look at me as if I had two heads because it is not the norm for a guy like me to do so. However, if I was from Naboo two heads would possibly be Normal, but they would still be puzzled by my summer dress. I also thought of the episode of friends where Ross is in London with his fiancé. They have an argument and Ross calls for a time-out (not the chocolate) by making a T gesture with his hands. Ross' fiancé, being from a different culture, misreads his hand gesture and replies by saying ' Well, Up yours too!'.
